too funny. my neighbours a good old cumbrian ex pat who came over and said the very same thing. the first beer was nice but the second had us talking about the WC and englands unimpressive showing so far. hes beside himself and his whole family is hiding from him on game day. we'll bend the elbow next time we catchup. cheers.

hey rob i wasn't sending that "chill out everyone" post your way at all. i was- i thought- not so subtley trying to tell laurie to quit with the trolling for fights, and for everyone to lighten up. it has been somewhat combative on this thread lately, and the intent was to promote a "move on". i reread the posts and figure you must be talking about my post at least. i think that we have a healthy regard for each others opinions and welcome them should they tend to disagree. so cheers, and if the objection was due to my posts then i hope this clears it up.
